This new generation coil kit has been specifically designed as an upgraded direct drop-in replacement for the Mazda 13b and 20b rotary engines.

The coil kit incorporates Genuine Hitachi-Astemo R35 GTR VR38 Ignition coils, which have a much higher power output over OEM or conventional dizzy backed single-coils. This coil kit can be used as a direct wire in for all aftermarket ECU’s and to maximize performance we recommend you use the dwell data that can be found HERE.

Key Features:

Billet Alloy anodized brackets engineered to fit all ignition coils in a way that allows user-friendly access to all the coil plugs and spark plugs in a non-invasive manner.

Kit includes custom height CNC Machined Teflon composite short stalks that bring the coil head as close to the spark plug as possible (round 5mm off the tip)

Custom made springs already fitted inside the stalks make for extremely fast installation as well as no trimming of springs required.

Bench tested, club motorsport grade branded harness, high temp Tefzel wire and crimp joins used with OEM connectors and glue lined heat-shrink.

Genuine Hitachi-Astemo R35 GTR VR38 Ignition coils are rated to 1400hp and come with a 1-year warranty.

Bolt kit included caters for the 4 ignition coils and billet brackets to the engine.

Knock sensor provisions and double length spark plug spacer options also included.

4) CJM ACV Block-Off Plate 

Performing a top-feed fuel rail conversion to a 13B-REW generally requires a low-profile ACV block-off plate and low-profile hardware to clear the secondary fuel rail.

The CJM ACV Block-Off is laser cut from stainless steel and includes stainless low-profile cap screws. Using stainless for the plate provides superior rigidity for a reliable seal while maintaining the thin profile (0.115").

5) CJM Fuel Rail Kit 

The foundation of this system is based on our completely billet machined secondary rail. This rail is fueled by the included -6an feed line which fastens to the factory 5/16" feed pipe and a -6/-8AN reducer in the back of the secondary rail. The rail features a -8AN inlet port to accommodate future upgrades. Integrated to the secondary rail is a Y-Block to provide fuel for the primary rail.

Our primary rail features -6AN inlet and outlet fittings. Fuel exiting the front of either rail via included PTFE hoses will lead to the adjustable pressure regulator affixed to the upper intake manifold with the CJM laser-cut stainless regulator mount.

Select your secondary rail with 2 fuel injector ports for use with the factory 13B-REW lower intake manifold, or 4 injector ports for an aftermarket LIM. Our 2-port secondary is also available with an integrated fuel pulsation damper. The FPD upgrade is an OEM-style option that reduces fuel pressure oscillation and noise, flattening out the fuel tables during tuning and smoothing part-throttle engine behavior. There is also an FPD-Ready option for a secondary rail that is FPD compatible however includes a plug for the FPD port.

Compatibility and Fitment Information: This rail was designed for use with 48mm EV14 based injectors and 14mm o-rings. This is one of the most common and typical injector specifications currently available. Please contact us if you need help selecting injectors. This rail is NOT compatible with the original fuel injectors.

Top-Feed secondary rail conversions require Air Control Valve (ACV) delete with a low profile block-off plate (Available from CJM)

Carefully remove the factory diffusers placed underneath the original fuel injectors.

These rails are NOT compatible with the factory fuel lines.

Regulator Type: Add a Fuelab (51502) or Aeromotive (13109) regulator based on your brand preference. There is no known discernible difference in performance.

Mini Pressure Gauge: A small 1/8 NPT liquid-filled pressure gauge that can be installed to regulator. When not installing an in-cabin fuel pressure gauge, you will need this to set and monitor fuel pressure.

Fire Sleeve: 3 feet of quality DEI Fire Sleeve to help protect the hoses from high temperatures and abrasions. This is a black colored sleeve product that you cut to length and slide over the end of the hose. For top-mount turbochargers, additional protection may be required. Protecting your fuel lines is protecting your vehicle!

6) CJM Injector Bung Adapter, 13B

CJ Motorsports bottom injector adapters are used to convert side-feed Mazda 13B injector ports to accept a 14mm lower o-ring top feed injector.

Our bottom injector adapters utilize an outside o-ring for a positive seal without requiring a permanent press-in installation.

These are compatible with all 14mm o-ring top feed injectors. CJ Motorsports fuel rail kits and fuel systems are designed to be used with these adapters.
